Blog Bag: No Week Off Here

Just because it’s an off week for Mississippi State football doesn’t mean it’s an off week for the Blog Bag. Surely y’all have questions about this team one-third of the way through the season (I know I do). And don’t feel like you have to limit your questions to football.

    Is the defenses coaches saving blitz packages for SEC foes? If so why not work on it in game situations so if there is kinks in schemes they would know what to fix prior to facing SEC opponent?

    It seems that our interior offensive line seems to be a stonger unit than our outside offensive lineman. It don’t really think they have gotten a true test yet. What are your thoughts?

    BL, what is the status of Tyler’s throwing hand?
    Had people at Troy see it wrapped and iced at game’s end, and Gene even mentioned that he forgot to ask about it during presser.
    Just wondering if this had anything to do with inconsistency against USA…

    With all the offseason talk around Quay Evans, it doesn’t seem like he’s been on the field too much. I know I saw him toward the end of the USA game, but I can’t specifically recall anything else. Any reason why we haven’t seen more of him? We know he can play.
