We met with first-year men’s basketball coach Rick Ray this morning. He’s getting ready for preseason practices to begin this weekend, and so he talked about that as well as the health of freshman Fred Thomas, who’s getting an X-ray on his foot (stress fracture) to make sure he can get out of his protective boot. MSU holds its Maroon Madness on Friday night, and then the first practice is set for Saturday morning.
