We had some good chats with a few MSU assistant coaches this afternoon following Dan Mullen‘s press conference. We’ll hit some Mullen highlights later, but for now here’s defensive coordinator Chris Wilson, offensive coordinator Les Koenning and co-defensive coordinator Geoff Collins.

Chris Wilson is such a moron I don’t know where to begin.

Coach Wilson is not a moron. He is a good man of high character.
We have had big defensive and offensive issues when playing the upper level SEC teams and that all starts with our up front personnel. The young OL hasnt developed as fast as hoped and the DL is not as talented as expected while the LB’s are not getting off of blocks.
That said we should not have been dominated on defense like we were this past weekend and that falls on coaching. I expect improvement this week but we will need some big-time breaks to pull out a win.
