Football: Kentucky-MSU Moved to Thursday Night

Mississippi State’s football game against Kentucky has been moved up a couple of days, to Thursday, Oct. 24, and it will be televised by ESPN. The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. in Starkville.

It’ll be MSU’s first Thursday night game since 2011, when it played two. The Kentucky game comes after a bye week for State, and the following game (Nov. 2) will be at South Carolina.

The Bulldogs went 8-5 last season, and they begin spring practices March 21.

I've covered Mississippi State athletics for the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (djournal.com) since August of 2008. I like sports, but I love writing.
