MSU to Face UCLA in College World Series Finals

OMAHA, Neb. | Mississippi State (52-18) will take on UCLA (47-17) in the College World Series championship.

The best-of-three series begins Monday at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Tuesday’s game and Wednesday’s game (if necessary) will be at the same time, same channel. MSU will be the home team in Game 1 and Game 3 if it’s needed.

The Bulldogs and Bruins are both 3-0 in the CWS this year. MSU beat Oregon State 4-1 today to reach its first ever title series, while UCLA defeated North Carolina by the same score tonight. The Bruins are making their second appearance in the finals – they lost to South Carolina in 2010.

MSU is 1-4 all time against UCLA, the last meeting coming in 2010.
