Kickoff Times, TV Set for First Three Weeks; MSU-Auburn at Night

HOOVER, Ala. | Kickoff and TV information for the first three weeks of the football season has been released by the SEC.

We already knew that MSU’s season opener against Oklahoma State, on Aug. 31 in Houston, will kick off at 2:30 p.m., with an ABC/ESPN2 split telecast. State’s home opener, the next week versus Alcorn State, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on CSS. The Bulldogs then open SEC play on Sept. 14 at Auburn, slated to start at 6 p.m. on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Two other game times were previously known: Oct. 24 versus Kentucky (6:30 p.m., ESPN) and Nov. 28 versus Ole Miss (6:30 p.m., ESPN).
