Videos: Young Guys Jefferson, Brown Talk About Progress

STARKVILLE | Like I said in the last entry, we spoke with a bunch of MSU defensive linemen this afternoon. That included talking to some guys we’ve either not spoken to before or have done so very little – young players who are adding to the depth up front this fall.

A.J. Jefferson is a redshirt freshman who’s getting ready for his first shot at playing at the college level. The defensive end is currently listed as Denico Autry‘s backup on the preseason depth chart, and he talked about the progress he’s made thus far. The other video in this entry features Ryan Brown, a sophomore end who made a strong impression last year, especially toward the end of the season. He’s surprisingly slim, and Brown said he often gets mistaken for a basketball player.
