STARKVILLE | Mississippi State has plenty of depth in its offensive backfield, and sophomore Josh Robinson is a big part of that. He was second on the team in rushing yards last season, using a combination of power and speed to pick up the yards.
Once affectionately known as a “bowling ball,” Robinson has slimmed down quite a bit. He said he’s around 205 pounds – down from 230. But as you can tell in the video, he’s still got plenty of muscle – and, he feels, still plenty of power.
Robinson has a world of confidence not only in himself, but in this group of running backs.
“We’ve got the best running back crew in the nation – point blank, period,” he said. “All we’ve got to do is maintain, stay healthy and do what we’re coached to do.”
