STARKVILLE – Game time has been announced for Mississippi State’s matchup with Troy on Sept. 21 in Starkville.

The two non-conference foes will square off at 6 p.m. CT televised on FSN.

It will be fourth ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron with the Bulldogs holding a 2-1 advantage. MSU edged out Troy on the road last season 30-24 in the first ever visit to Veterans Memorial Stadium by an SEC opponent.

The Trojans out-gained MSU on offense 572-457 in that 2012 contest.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
