Logan Lowery of the Daily Journal previews the weekly games for Mississippi State’s current commitments.

The Bulldogs currently have 18 verbal commitments and its 2014 class is rated 33rd by 247Sports.com.

Logan Cooke, P, 6-5, 200, Columbia Academy (Columbia, Miss.)

Last Week: Cooke did not play due to a foot injury in a 41-6 loss to Oak Forest (La.).

2013 Stats: Punts – 10 punts for 436 yards (43.6 avg.) Field Goals – 1-for-2 Extra Points – 3-of-5 Kickoffs – 11 touchbacks Offense – three catches for 64 yards

Deshon Cooper, LB, 6-4, 215, Columbia (Decatur, Ga.)

Last Week: Cooper made four tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks and forced a fumble. He also caught three passes for 51 yards in a 20-13 win over Carver.
