Info: Former Mississippi State defensive back Adron Chambers helped St. Louis claim their World Series championship in 2011. Chambers played in five games as a defensive back for the Bulldogs football team in 2006 recording seven tackles and an interception before being dismissed from the team. Chambers was left off of the active roster for the World Series.

Info: Buck Showalter took over Baltimore in late in the 2010 season after serving as an analyst on ESPN’s Baseball Tonight. The Orioles are the fourth team Showalter has managed in the big leagues with previous stints with the Yankees, Diamondbacks and Rangers and has been named the American League Manager of the Year twice. The Orioles finished tied for third in the AL East 12 games behind the Red Sox.

Bobby Thigpen

Info: Bobby Thigpen is in his seventh season on the White Sox coaching staff and first in the big leagues. As a player, Thigpen is the White Sox career saves leader with 201 and held the single season record with 57 saves for 18 years and finished fourth in the AL Cy Young voting in 1990. He was a member of MSU’s famed 1985 College World Series squad.

Easley helped the Diamond Dogs reach the College World Series in 2007.

He was 8-7 with a 2.72 ERA, three saves and 80 strikeouts last season. Jones is rated the No. 15 prospect in the Orioles organization. He was promoted to Double-A in April.

After starting only three games as a junior, Ammirati received 49 starts this past spring hitting .246 with a home run and 23 RBI. He was signed as a free agent.
