Super Bulldog Weekend schedule set

Tailgating (51)Mississippi State has set its schedule for Super Bulldog Weekend.

The annual spring event features the Maroon-White spring football game and is surrounded by a host of other campus activities. This year’s Super Bulldog weekend will run from April 10-13.

Things get underway on Thursday, April 10 with a exhibition soccer game against Alabama at 7 p.m. The pig cooking contest begins at 8 a.m. the following day with a 5 p.m. softball game against Alabama and a 6:30 p.m. baseball game against Ole Miss slated Friday evening.

The Cotton District Arts Festival and Old Cottom Mill 5K run begin at 8 a.m. Saturday morning followed up by a alumni volleyball match at 11 a.m. The Maroon-White spring football game will be held at noon at Davis Wade Stadium with a baseball game against Ole Miss following at 3 p.m. Softball will close out the day’s events against Alabama at 6 p.m.

Sunday’s events get underway with a 1 p.m. men’s tennis match against Texas A&M and a softball game against Alabama. A 1:30 p.m. baseball first pitch against Ole Miss will close out the weekend’s festivities at Dudy Noble Field.

8:00 a.m.: Pig Cooking Begins (behind McArthur Hall)
4:00 p.m.: Pig Cooking - Farm Bureau & Mississippi Pork Producers Sampling of the Grill (McArthur Hall - at corner of Barr & Collegeview)
5:00 p.m.: Softball vs. Alabama (MSU Softball Field)
6:30 p.m.: Baseball vs. Ole Miss (Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium)

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Cotton District Arts Festival (featuring Old Cotton Mill 5K Run at 8 a.m. and 1-Mile Family Fun Run at 10 a.m.)
