Live from Foley Field

I have switched sports, towns and hotels in the last few hours traveling to Athens for Mississippi State’s SEC opening series against Georgia. This is my first trip to Foley Field and I like the setting here. Not a huge crowd today but that could be because UGA is playing Ole Miss tonight up the road in Atlanta in the SEC Tournament. In fact, I think I’m the only writer here covering for either team…which means more pizza for me. MSU will be wearing maroon hats, maroon “MS” jerseys and grey pants while UGA is clad in black hats and jerseys with white pants.
