Mississippi State’s recruiting roll continued Tuesday night as Wesson three-star tight end Farrod Green became the Bulldogs seventh commitment in the past week.
The 6-foot-4, 223-pounder chose MSU over an offer from Alcorn State and is rated the No. 32 prospect in Mississippi by the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
Green played wide receiver as a junior at Wesson, where the Cobras went 1-9.
The Bulldogs have 17 commitments in the 2015 class, nine of which hail from Mississippi programs. State’s class ranks sixth nationally.
