2016 linebacker Jonathan Pollock has de-committed from his pledge to Mississippi State.

The standout from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., native had been committed to the Bulldogs since June 2013. Pollock also has offers from North Carolina, SMU, East Carolina, South Florida, Temple, Texas State, Tulane, UAB, Akron and Memphis.

As a sophomore last season, the six-foot, 205-pounder make 86 tackles including 17 tackles for loss, eight sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble.

Pollock’s de-commitment leaves MSU with just one commitment for 2016. Three former commitments have reopened their recruitment.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
