Shumpert selected for Doak Walker watch list

Mississippi State junior Ashton Shumpert was one of 69 running backs selected to the Doak Walker Award watch list on Thursday. Shumpert, a 6-foot-2, 218-pounder from Fulton, appeared in a dozen games for the Bulldogs last season including two starts.
